Preliminary listing - more photos and info coming soon.
2000 Luhrs 360 Convertible.
One of the top-selling small convertibles ever produced, the breakthrough feature of the Luhrs 36 was her molded flybridge steps in the starboard corner of the cockpit. Rather than climb a near-vertical ladder, a staircase made bridge access easy and safe—an innovative concept soon picked up by other convertible manufacturers. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 13'10" beam and flared bow, the 36 boasts a very spacious interior. The two-stateroom, galley-up floorplan is arranged with a queen berth forward and a settee in the guest cabin that converts into over/ under single berths. A separate shower stall is found in the large head, and an L-shaped settee/dinette is to port in the spacious salon. The engine room is accessed through a hatch in the salon sole. Fishing features include a transom door, transom fish box, cockpit rod storage, and a molded bait prep center to port. A factory half tower was standard. When boat was new, the twin Caterpillar 3126 with 420hp diesels cruise at 22 knots (close to 30 knots top).
